Friends of the Botanical Garden of the Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf, founded in 1984

Did you know that the Botanical Garden of the University of Düsseldorf has a circle of friends? This circle was founded by enthusiastic, independent members of the public and staff/students of the University of Düsseldorf in 1984 and is strongly committed to the ongoing development and maintenance of the Botanical Garden.

Its goals are:

·to extend and preserve the species richness of the Botanical Garden for academic teaching and the interested public;

·to actively promote the ongoing development of the Botanical Garden with material support;

·to present interesting topics and explain them in detail in lectures and on excursions.
