Each summer the botanical garden presents an exhibition with a focus on new scientific results or on socio-political aspects. The exhibitions are located in the outdoor area or in the greenhouses.

Our permanet exhibition 'Nutzpflanzen – Gestern | Heute | Morgen' shows useful plants in content of breeding, cultivation and diversity. The 'Cluster of Excelence on Plant Science' (CEPLAS) exhibit plants which can be used for the production of biomass.
