Digital pharmacy garden

The botanical garden operates a medicinal section with more than 100 pharmaceutically used plants. They are also used for reference purposes by pharmacists in training.

We have recently set up a digital platform, funded by tuition fees. All plants are labelled with QR codes, which anyone can scan on their smartphone.

This allows visitors of the botanical garden to access information about ingredients, applications, botanical backgrounds and many other topics on site. You can also reach the database from any other internet connection. This makes it content available to students and interns revising at home.
