We train up to 10 apprentices at a time in the officially recognised occupation of gardener of perennial plants.
We carry out a wide range of tasks for scientific purposes. Our plant collections provide living material that you can touch and experience.
In the orangery and our large outdoor area, we present exhibitions related to current scientific or socio-political topics.

As a member of our Circle of Friends, you get to meet others who are interested in the botanical garden and actively contribute to it.
